Tips to help you stay young and healthy
Your goal is to stay healthy and young for the long haul. So from here on out:
- Adopt these six healthy habits.
- Aim to walk 10,000 steps every day. Use a pedometer to tally up your steps. Check out this in-home walking video for bad weather (and bad hair) days.
- Keep an eye on your numbers. Each week, measure your blood pressure, resting (morning) heart rate, maximum (during exercise) heart rate, and waist size.
- Redo the Stay Young plan if you get stuck in a rut or feel like you're sliding downhill. It'll help you get back on track in no time.
