This week, do these things to grow younger:

1.Eat More, Weigh Less

Fill up on foods that are dense in flavor and nutrition, not in fat and calories. That means watermelon, cucumbers, and other natural wonders, not cheese curls and Twinkies. What else can “low-energy-density foods” do for you? Find out.

2. Walk at Least 30 Minutes

Even better, walk an extra 10 minutes at least 3 days this week. Make workout time fly: Pick something that happens randomly, and use it as a trigger to change your workout and get more out of it.   • Monday: Have a no-judgment day. Enjoy a day free of self-criticism, in which you live, work, and observe without judging yourself, both inside and out.
  • Wednesday: Start flossing and brushing more diligently, but only the teeth you wish to keep. If that’s not enough to motivate you, do it to prevent heart disease and wrinkles and maintain sexual satisfaction. Here’s how this little act affects so much.
  • Friday: Do something for someone that you normally wouldn’t. You may be surprised at how good it makes you feel. Research shows that giving back to your community and helping others is linked to increased happiness (which boosts your health and makes your RealAge younger). So start giving.
  • Saturday Special tip: Update your playlist. Listen to your newest tunes only while you walk.
