Drew Barrymore and Optimism

Drew Barrymore is one of Hollywood's do-gooders. The actress donated $1 million to the World Food Programme to help feed children in Africa. "You don't make a contribution like that unless you think you can change the world," Dr. Roach said. "Obviously, Drew Barrymore and people like her that make such generous donations believe they can change the world. So, yes, they are optimistic. We have data that suggests optimism is good for your RealAge. Optimism is just as significant as anger and hostility, but in a positive way."
