Hi!

I've been doin this low carb things since around 9/13. I slipped that weekend and the next, so I didnt reallt start HARD until 9/28. I weigh 228LBS and started out at around 237lbs. I'm a female 5'9" and want to get to around 165lbs or a size 12. I'm not exercising, but plan to start around 200 lbs. I usually eat 2 eggs with american cheese and turkey bacon or steak for breakfast, tuna with mayo for lunch, and some sype of protein and veggies for dinner. Wish me luck!!!!!

Hi.... I tried low carbs for years and i lost ....but put it all right back on. I did some research took the advice most agreed on and switched to a mediterraen diet of sorts adding additional info... It has worked wonders. I am no longer hungry and I am losing weight. I was 196 and am now 166 in 4 months my health has improved all the way around. Do research and God Bless

This really helped me to lose weight. The low carbs and cutting my favorite carbs out really change the way i eat. I so agree with you.

At almost 50 and almost 2 years after a hysterectomy I wasn't sure if I would ever lose the weight I have gained. At 5'5" and 207 lbs I decided to reduce my carbs, but not eliminate. I eat oatmeal at least 5 mornings a week, fruit, veggies and normal amount of protein. Carbs are whole grain/ whole wheat, and no more than 1-2 times a week. I have eliminated sugar, but use a tsp honey . In 13 days I lost 10 lbs. It was hard at first and I was really hungry out of boredom. But now I feel great and have more energy and am moving more. I have a semi physical job(clean houses) but I emotionally eat and slowly gained with my hormone issues. Hope this can be a continued lifestyle for me.
