A green smoothie EVERY morn! Add some greens with water, then add your fruit. A powerful blender is very helpful. My husband and I haven't had a cold or been ill since we became vegetarians and added green smoothies to our diet a year ago this month.

Has anyone else noticed how eating an apple makes your teeth feel clean? It makes me wonder why no one has used it as an ingredient in toothpaste.....

Make those morning protein smoothies extra delicious by adding lots of ice... but you need an excellent blender than can handle serious ice crushing. Blueberries and strawberries make the drink taste like a drug-store ice cream and fruit milkshake. You don't even taste the spinach leaves... it tastes almost too good to be that healthy.

Healthy big bowl salad: Thinly slice cabbage, red and green (at least a cup of each...cut up one or two tomatoes, one or two apples, slice grapes in half (one cup), add 1/2 cup sliced black olives, chop fresh parsely 1/2 cup...You may add walnuts or almonds to taste. we leave them out due to family allergies.
(soak/wash/rinse cabbage/tomatoes/apples parsely in vinegar and water solution..also leave skins on...toss in favorite dressing. (We add canola mayo or olive oil/vinegar mixture).

apples, Honey, quinoa, almonds, blueberries and your favorite dressing...I love lemon and olive oil together....Just delicious and soooooooooohealthy for you....

1 small banana, one scoop of vanilla protien powder, big handful of spinich leaves, some water and ice. Blend. delicious. Blueberries instead of banana good too. Try other fruit, keep the spinich.
