Br--st cancer survivors may benefit from even higher doses of vitamin D, especially if you live in cloudy places like Seattle (where most people have a deficiency of vitamin D). Talk to your oncologist about getting your levels of D checked, and get a recommendation on a good dose for you. Taking vitamin D also increases your body's ability to absorb more of the calcium from your daily supplement. You *are* taking a calcium supplement, aren't you? :-)
