I went through a4 week of crying and depression several years ago after coming off birth-control pills. It was suggested I take B-complex vitamins which took a couple of weeks to get into my system. After that, my energy improved, my crying sprees ceased and things seeemed much better.

I have recently read that to much folate can mask a dangerous vitamin-B-12 deficiancy. If you have unexplained fatigue a simple blood test will show if you are deficiant in B-12. It happened to me and I started taking the supplement and it helped to get me back on my feet again.
