"wake up call,"Drink a glass of warm water and a squeeze of lemon.This is a great liver detox and helps liver function.Also helps to keep your body alkaline and stimulates the digestive system.

Life is short. So don't sweat the small stuff. It's not worth the effort. Be more thankful for what you have vs. what you don't.

Frozen fruit -- buy it on sale, pop it in your freezer, is a delicious treat. Try all berries, bananas, even cooked rhubarb-- a kind of sorbet. I like skimmed milk on top to satisfy the ice cream sundae craving -- or a drizzle of honey although this is much less healthy. Stay aware. think of food in categories- fat, carb, starch, protein, simple sugar. Remember lo-fat proteins or a small amount of fat can regulate blood sugar, but you need the lo-cal carbs-- veggies and some sugars-- fruits as well.

if u work out hard take in at least 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight
