Feed Yourself This for a Flatter Belly

We've all got those pants in the back of the closet that we’re dying to fit into again. Did you know that whole grains might help get you there?

It's true. When dieters traded their usual refined-grain carbs (like white rice or plain bagels) for whole-grain products (like whole-wheat bread or spelt pasta), they lost even more belly fat.

I do not like the wheat spaghetti noodles..... someone suggested that I use brown rice as my noodle?...... I have used that under chili, but never spaghetti sauce...... any ideas?

when it come to brown rice or whole rolled oats I find if you soak them in water you add organic plain yoguart ; only a table spoon or two and stir it up and cover with a lid put in the reg or on the counter depending on what you are wanting to swell in a hurry and to make it nice and chewable. I also do this with my beans overnight in the ref; it also helps to take the gas out of the beans. For my Oats I just add the yoguart to the water and cover and leave out over night makes wonderful oats and better for digestion if there are people out there with digestion problem. You actually kill two Birds with one stone: You get you whole grain and your yoguart at the same time. It has to be plain yoguart. Matter a fact Organic plain Yoguart should be one on the staple in your home along with whole grains. Thank you for letting me share

I started buying brown rice since January & believe me my belly is flat.I soak my rice for 1/2 hour & lets all you need& to every cup of rice I add 1&1/2 cup water & cook it in the rice cooker & rice comes perfect.
Sometimes i make fried rice with a bit of olive oil & onions & mixed vegetables & tastes great.

I always soak my brownce rice in water over nite, along with a handful of red or black beens. It reduces cooking time, and the beens offer a better taste along with more nutritions & fiber.

If anyone knows, please provide nutrition values and differences between brown rice and black or red rice. I saw them in markets, but know nothing about red & black rice. Thank you.

I found this tip helpful, because you specified the amount of one serving. Thanks. I wish this information appeared on more of your hints.

Four days a week I have a few ounces of All Bran and I add 2 tablespoons of wheat germ and ground flax seeds. Splenda or 1tsp of sugar and 2% milk and I've had a real hit of fiber.

My favorite whole grain treat is bread pudding with blueberries. Instead of french or white bread, use whole grains, blueberries and skim milk. Yummy and nutritious!
