Could This Salad Make You Stronger?

Sweet red peppers, sunflower seeds, and mango chunks atop a bed of spinach sure make for a yummy salad. But could it make you strong like Popeye, too?

According to research, it very well might. Especially if you're over 65. You see, each of those salad ingredients is rich in vitamin E. And seniors who get the most E test best on physical tasks like how fast they can walk or how quickly they can get up out of a chair.

I learned that having a good and healthy breakfast makes your day much easier when it comes to eat only the necessary during the rest of the day, without extra-starving you are able even to take care of your weight, that's thanks to RealAge, I was one of those who didn't care for breakfast.
Thank you!

I love spinach- try it with strawberries, or mangoes, or asian pears. A little bit of feta and red onions and I'm in heaven.

Baby Spinach mixed with red leaf lettuce, add your choice of : Red Onion, Bell Peppers of all kinds, boiled egg, grape tomatoes or cherry or Roma, chop up strawberrires, grilled chicken, sunflower nuts, garlic salt and poppyseed dressing. Divide salad into appropriate portions and eat all day long. You wont get fat, and its very yummy and healthy. Also, when you cook, the grocery stores now carry "Omega 3" cooking oil that includes Safflower, Sunflower and vitamin E as the basic oils. The cost is affordable.

I noticed there was no dressing mentioned but I think this would be great with a light raspberry vinegarette dressing using olive oil.

Rest on your tummy for 2 to 3 minutes on your bed, in the middle of the day and/or right before you go to sleep for a healthy spine.

Resting on your tummy may even get rid of the back pains and
sciatic leg pains.

While the recommended dose is 400 mg, recent research suggests we should actually get 2-3 times that much, making it even more important to get plenty.

Along with vitamin E for a brain boost - be sure to continue learning - take a class. Better yet, take a class in tai chi or other type of exercise. Learning strengthens the mind and the exercise helps with balance and strength.
