I tune into Yoga on the TV. . . you can catch it several times a day on some cable networks. In 10 months, it has really helped my attitude and golf game.

I use to do crunches and sit ups to try and tone my abs, but now I work out my core muscles using the stability ball. I love it!!! I saw results in just 2 weeks and I only used it 3-4times per week for 10mins each time.

I have found a way of stopping unhealthy eating while I'm out and about. I used to get so hungry while out that I'd reach for anything to eat. I now have a lunch box that I take with me filled with healthy alternatives. I find that I'm never tempted to buy junk food and it saves me alot of money too!

I know the knees might be an issue for some people, but a jump rope and the jump ropes that are thick and have weight on them is one of the best workouts around. It also does not require you to be stationary. You can go anywhere with a rope and jump for at least 10 minutes and you've lost approximately 500 calories. Of course with practice, these calories losses depends on the speed and consistancy of your jumps. Skipping is not quite the same and yet you are still keeping active. Good luck.

Belly Dancing is a great low impact exercise... and you don't even know you're working out because it's so much fun. I take classes with Sahar Sami in San Diego a couple of times a week and practice at home on my own. I lost weight but most importantly, I feel GREAT!

We all spend way too much time in our cars, right? I have a 20 minute drive to and from work. In the morning I spend my drive time doing an isometric abdominal workout--just contract and extend the abs. In the evening I do the same for my glutes--two quick contractions/releases per side, then repeat. By the time I get home, I have 40 minutes of workout done and great abs and glutes.

Since I have osteoarthritis of the knee, I cannot do brisk walking or vigorous aerobics. So I do selected yoga postures which work out my muscles. I find I am breathing hard at the end of my workout. Try it some time if you so wish.

Stretching and flexing my leg muscles always gets my blood flowing and makes me want to do something active. I touch my toes then raise my hands over my head a few times. Do calf raises, leg lifts. Before I know it, I'm dying to go for a walk.
