Could Unsweetened Drinks Save You Some Pain?

Ice-cold sodas and fruity drinks may hit the spot on a warm weekend, but could sipping unsweetened tea instead save you from a pain-filled future?

I sip spearmint tea, hot or cold, all day. I hear it is a natural way to slow the growth of facial hair on women. Any one else ever heard of this?

I'm with the ice tea and water stored in glass containers. I also try to drink them from glass containers or carefully chosen plastic

If not tea, then icey iced water with some fresh lemon juice (or mint from the garden) helps me cut out the soda sugar.

sweet-n-lo is not considered healthy, in fact it has adverse health risks
according to almost all of the studies I have read about on these types of web-sites, unless, big business or government sponsered.

carbonated water and some wines are all that I drink. I am a celiac and have been without my beer for 2 years now and I feel so much better since stopping the beer and drinking mostly carbonated water.

A old country farmer told me to take cherry pills or either eat un- sweetened cherrys. I have been, every time I forget, or get stupid, and forget them for a while, my gout comes back. it works, seems to take about 10 days to kick in.It sure works for me , its been 2 years since it bothered me, oh, BTY , I am a wine lover!

I always add as much lime/lemon juice straight from the citrus to my puirified water. This makes it taste better and makes you want to drink more of it. Be careful not to make it too sour, just a splash of sourness should do the trick. Cucumber slices can also be added to a glass of water. Some mint leaves can be added to a pitcher of water which should be allowed to sit overnight. These are cheap alternatives to the bottled flavored water.

On a Very hot day in the sun never drink sweetened soft drinks or
beverages with alcohol in it. This tends to shrink the blood sugar
level and leaves one weak doing the exact opposite of what it is
suppossed to do for us. Also adding to dehydration instead of
rehydration.

i agree with heidilu, stay with good old water, straight from the faucet or the fridge, each time your body tells you to Fuel UP.
