I've talked about this already. Need fluids, maybe lycopene, vitamin C, vitamin K, not being near much light nor pollution, need lutein, Zeaxanthin, vitamin E or Bilberry or Blueberries, sunglasses, and more. How more honest could I be?!!! Get all the sleep you can, too.

My mother's eye doctor advised her to put warm water washcloth compresses every morning and be sure to take omega 3 fish oil capsules every day.

I thought your tear glands kept your eyes moist, not your tear ducts...

Regarding the tip to "change your display setting so that the monitor refreshes at a rate of at least 70 hertz," please note, I tried this with my laptop and got a message that 60 hertz is the only rate at which it will display things correctly, and if I try to change it, some things will not display correctly. So this tip is not as useful as it may seem.

I haver a blocked tear duct.Tried a specialist syringing to no avail.Have found if I STEAM them it will stop the problem for quite some time. Also taking 6 capsules of fish oil a day. Many years ago an eye specialist told me it relieves many eye problems. He told me to wrap some plain cotton around a wooden spoon and dip into near boiling water and hold up to face so that eyes get the steam (not close enough to touch or burn them) I use a face steamer now.Works really well.

I have used this tip to relax my tired eyes as well as my children' eyes. Just rub both your palm until hot and place it over your closed eyes immediately. The warm of your palm sooth and relax the eyes. You can do it as many times as you like.

When eyes are all used up at the end of the day, I find that closing them for a short duration and then splashing normal tap water into them, extremely effective. Also start the day by splashing water into the eyes.

Allergies may be the cause of dry itchy eyes. Check with your family doctor who can prescribe eye drops, if necessary. Dab a small white washcloth in boiled salted water, which has cooled to room temperature, onto your closed eyes. Repeat 10 times. I still like a warmed tea bag and cold cucumber eye compresses.

Massage your eyes! The best one and easiest to do is to rub your hands together to generate some heat and press your palms gently onto your eyes. Then move your eye upwards, center, right, center, down, center, left, center, up... etc. 10 each way and your eyes will just have recieved a relaxing massage.
