Week 7: Eat Fat, Get Younger
This week, do these things to grow younger:
1. Eat the Right Fats
Good fats -- especially omega-3s and monounsaturated fats -- make you healthy; the others make you older. Are you eating the right ones?
2. Kick Up Your Walking a Notch
Add 10 minutes to your 30-minute walk three different days this week.
Bonus Moves for Overachievers
- Monday: Dress with olive oil. Skip the creamy salad dressings loaded with saturated fat, and drizzle olive oil on your greens. Add some avocado and some walnuts, too. In other words, keep the fats in your diet monounsaturated, and help get your cholesterol where it should be.
- Wednesday: Write down what youre grateful for. Take a few minutes to reflect on whats good in your life, and make a list of the top 10 things that come to mind.
- Friday: Get menu smart. Check out the best and worst choices at six restaurant chains.
- Saturday: Flatten your belly. Use this abs-flattening video by Dr. Ozs trainer. Do it three times a week from now on, and prepare to be totally amazed by the results.
