Ingredients

U.S. Metric Conversion chart
  • 2 pound(s) cubed pork loin
  • 6 ounce(s) Ortega green chili mild, If you like your dili hot - get the hot variety
  • 1 cube(s) Chicken bullion
  • 1 cup(s) Water
  • 1 cup(s) Grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 package(s) Burrito sized flour torittas
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Sour Cream, optional
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Your favorite hot sauce, optional
  • 0.5 cup(s) Refried beans, served on the side

Directions

  1. Add the following to medium sized pot :2 lbs dice pork (trim off any fat)1 7 oz can of ortega diced green chili (mild) On slow heat simmer and stir about every 3 minutes.
  2. Once it has made it's own juice add a chicken bullion cube. Add 1 cup water, cover and continue to cook over low heat for about 2 - 3 hours until tender. ( You may need to add more water if the level cooks down.)
  3. Once meat is tender take out of the pot with a slotted spoon and place on open tortilla and then fold 1/2 way over - fold the ends towards the center and roll. Place grated chees on top, and then spoon over the hot green chili liquid.
  4. Add a dollop of sour cream and a side of refried beans - enjoy
