Ingredients

U.S. Metric Conversion chart
  • 1 teaspoon(s) olive oil
  • 1 large portobello mushroom cap (outer skin and gills removed)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) soft goat cheese
  • 1 slice(s) whole grain bread, toasted
  • 1 teaspoon(s) bottled balsamic vinegar glaze
  • 1 teaspoon(s) fresh basil, minced (optional)

Directions

  1. Spread oil over both sides of mushroom cap.
  2. Grill over medium-high heat or cook in a nonstick skillet over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until tender.
  3. Spread goat cheese over toast.
  4. Slice mushroom cap; arrange over goat cheese.
  5. Drizzle glaze over mushroom.
  6. Garnish with basil if desired.
