- .75 cup(s) sliced strawberries
- .5 cup(s) orange juice
- .5 teaspoon(s) grated orange peel
- 1 cup(s) water
- .667 cup(s) sugar
Directions
- Over medium heat, dissolve the sugar into the water.
- Bring to a boil and then chill until cold.
- In a blender, puree the strawberries, orange juice, and orange peel until smooth.
- Gradually add the chilled sugar syrup and blend well. Pour the mixture into a glass dish and cover.
- Freeze for about 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Blend again until smooth.
- Spoon into dessert glasses and serve immediately or freeze in a covered container for up to 3 days.
