  • .75 cup(s) sliced strawberries
  • .5 cup(s) orange juice
  • .5 teaspoon(s) grated orange peel
  • 1 cup(s) water
  • .667 cup(s) sugar

Directions

  1. Over medium heat, dissolve the sugar into the water.
  2. Bring to a boil and then chill until cold.
  3. In a blender, puree the strawberries, orange juice, and orange peel until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the chilled sugar syrup and blend well. Pour the mixture into a glass dish and cover.
  5. Freeze for about 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Blend again until smooth.
  6. Spoon into dessert glasses and serve immediately or freeze in a covered container for up to 3 days.
