Ingredients

U.S. Metric Conversion chart
  • 1 cup(s) juice of your choice (papaya or mango nectar base are smoother and less acidic; less thick juices are preferable)
  • 1 small banana or 3⁄4 cup of your favorite berries
  • 2 tablespoon(s) whey protein
  • 2 tablespoon(s) flax, freshly ground (helps with constipation and provides omega-3s)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) hemp seed nut, hemp protein, or psyllium husk (for fiber)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Salba or chia seeds (provides omega-3, calcium, magnesium, and protein)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) wheat germ (for B vitamins)
  • 3  200-milligram fish oil capsules (break and use oil)

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Cover; blend 30 seconds.
  3. Add ice cubes to change thickness or temperature if desired.
