How to Swaddle Your Baby

By Mehmet C. Oz, MD, and Michael F. Roizen, MD
You can keep your baby swaddled for much of the day when he's sleeping or resting, and then loosen the reins as he stays awake longer and seems curious about moving around, starting at about 3 months. It's very effective for cranky babies because it calms them. Often, they actually want to sleep but can't soothe themselves.
